Great fishing in the Borders
A great selection of fishing is available in the Border area. Whether
you wish to fish for salmon, wild brown river trout, specimen rainbows
in ponds and lakes, the area provides you with some of the finest
quality fishing available. The coast line also provides some grand
sea fishing, both from shore and boat.
Willow Dean Fishery
This new fishery, located near Foulden in Berwickshire, is just a few
miles off the A1 road. It is about an easy hours drive from Lilac
Cottage,and comprises two man-made lakes totaling two and a half acres.
It is well stocked with rainbows and blue trout. They range from a
couple of pounds to double figure fish. So it should provide for a good
day out. You can choose to fish for the basket or on a catch and
release system.
