The cottage is a two storey semi-detached traditional farm cottage, Set in attractive gardens, maintained on organic principles, it has been fully restored and modernised to provide comfortable accomodation.
The beamed ceilings give that warm feeling of yesteryear whilst the electric "optiflame" effect stove, set in the stone fireplace in the family/dining room, coupled with the oil fired central heating ensure that you will always feel comfortably warm, whatever the time of year. The 4o" LCD television in the lounge backed up with CD audio and various games and books should mean that boredom never gives cause for concern throughout your stay.
The fitted modern kitchen has electric oven, hob, microwave,toaster, kettle, fridge and other electric gadgets to ensure that anyone who wishes can cook away to their hearts content. Those who would rather, can find a selection of fine dining establishments within a short drive.
The family room is comfortably furnished and the dining area means that meals can be enjoyed in comfort. Relax in the lounge and enjoy really confortable televiewing.
Upstairs two bedrooms have en-suite facilities with power showers. Two rooms are fitted with king-size beds, the other two have single beds. A cot is available if required. All bed linen is supplied.
The bathroom has an electric shower fitted over the bath and a shaver point is fitted above the wash basin. A heated towel rail adds to the comfort. Towels are available on request.
There is ample parking for cars and sufficient space inside to provide for luggage and outdoor clothes as required.
The garden grounds are yours to wander in and enjoy as you wish. Late January sees the first snowdrops appear, thereafter daffodils and tulips lead the way as the year progresses.
